Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are essential for a site to work, others are used for analytics or advertising.
The cookies we use
All cookies below are strictly necessary for a service you request (signing in or choosing a language), so under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and the Latvian Law on Information Society Services they do not require your consent. The short notice you see on your first visit is there to tell you this, not to ask for consent; closing it sets s2s_cookie_notice so it does not appear again. If you only browse the website without signing in or changing the language, it sets no other cookies. Our network provider Cloudflare sets no cookies on this website.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
__Secure-better-auth.session_token | Keeps you signed in to your account (set only when you sign in) | Up to 7 days, renewed while you use the site |
__Secure-better-auth.dont_remember | Ends your session when the browser closes, if you did not choose to stay signed in | Browser session |
s2s_cookie_notice | Remembers that you have seen the cookie notice, so it is not shown again | 12 months |
s2s_lang | Remembers the language you chose with the EN | LV switch (set only when you use the switch) | 12 months |
Stored in your browser
When you are signed in and pick automations on the Products page, your picks are kept in your browser's local storage (s2s-products-selected) until you send them or clear them. It never leaves your device on its own and is not a cookie.
Visitor statistics without cookies
To see how visitors use the website (which pages are visited, where visitors come from, how many sign up), we use Umami, which runs on our own server in Rīga. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It does not keep your IP address: each visit is counted with a code that changes regularly, so you cannot be recognised or followed across websites, and location is recorded only as the country. Visit statistics are deleted automatically after 13 months. Web addresses are counted without their query part (so, for example, an email address in a link is never recorded), and if your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, you are not counted at all. Because nothing is stored on your device, this needs no consent; you can still object at [email protected].
Embedded videos
Videos in our blog are not loaded until you click play. Only then does your browser connect to YouTube (through its privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain) or Vimeo, which may set their own cookies under their own policies.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies above, you will not be able to sign in.
Changes
If we ever add cookies that need your consent, such as analytics, we will ask for it first and update this page. More about how we handle personal data is in our Privacy Policy.
